I am a preschool teacher - well, an assistant teacher anyway. It was just a month ago that I started at my new position. If you have read any of my meandering thoughts in this blog, you have read about my job being in jeopardy. I was given a new place of employment by the director of Head Start and it happened in one day. Just one day - I was told I had a new place to be for work. I was very thankful and sad at the same time. A real mixed bag of emotions. This job is just 15 minutes from my home where my old job I drove almost an hour. I will really miss my friends at my old job though. So, after a month of working at the new place, I am still in the stage of "the new girl" and have not proved my worth in any way. I listened to a song by the Newsboys and it lifted me so. It said to arise and shine. That this is your time. I pray that I do just that.
